I don't use a cooling fan and mine is just fine. Then again I am usually in 72-75 degree rooms. The basic case is an over the should laptop case that is functional and nothing more. I like the Razor orochi for a mouse.

Not necessary but it won't hurt it either. G73 has good cooling and I still bought a fan just to be on the safe side.

HOw about you buy just the notebook first, then monitor the temperatures while you game, and buy the fans only IF you need to?

i have already bought the cooling fan, like 10 mins before. the problem is i don't know which one to choose.. like other said, each one of the two has pros and cons, i just don't know which one has the cons that i don't have problem with. also, if i bought the sager np8690, how long do i need to wait?(compare with g73jh-a2)?
