I have experienced my first blue screen. Now as most of us. I'm worried and hope it a one time issue. I have a support ticket in the pipe line. What I intend to do is sit back and see how the support team takes care of me. I must say the sale crew was awesome. Now its the support groups turn. For those wondering. I was just surfing the Internet Face book when it happened. In a office that is AC at about 69-70 degrees. I've had this baby for a month now. :(. All stock drivers and bios.

Windows should have saved some type of log explaining why the BSOD happened. Do you have it?

That error message is what I was talking about. If you google that error code you should find out what it means.

Well I gave email support a shot. They pretty much referred me to an RMA and ASUS support. The chat support referred me to ASUS support "xotic" which is 24/7 what that really means that you can call and leave a message. I left a message last week and no one has called me back. I have had three blue screens all which happened at work while surfing the Internet. Nothing inside the messages mean anything useful in google. I will give Xotic ASUS support another shot today.

The answer may lie in the mini dump file. I've yet to receive a call. It's time to sit down and write a letter.

Hey, I've had this too some time ago, several BSOD's in a relatively short period of time doing some web surfing. Never thought of turning to support, as I presumed it's a software error. When googling it, the most common answer was "Registry Error": Probably some collision between browser extensions. The solution: CCleaner.
Used it once, found a WHOLE LOT of reg errors. Never saw a BSOD again for over 4 months. I use CCleaner now regularly, although there might be other programs you'd prefer to use.
Just backup your registry before doing that...

Update I figure out What was causing my bsod. It was some sort of software conflict. I was using PDANET to tether my phone/laptop and I had suspected it because it would only crash when I was at work. I download a different app. easy tether and bingo no more issues haven't had a crash since. I sent PDANEt an email. They suggested that I try removing and download the program again. I haven't done that yet. It's been more than a month with out any issues so why bother other than they took my money for the app. My laptop current state is still the same No upgrades. The only upgrades has been software I use.
Thanks to all that responded.

There are two types of computer owners..............those who have been BSOD'd and those who have yet to be BSOD's. If you are one of the latter then you will be one of the first very soon!! Sounds like a web virus, malware and a good roddin' out may take care of it. The fun really starts when the BSOD happens when no commonality is found.
