Has any one used Linux (any distro) on the NP5793?

I am looking at dual booting with Windows for games and Linux for everything else. Just wanted to see if anyone had run Linux and if there were any known issues or tweaks.

Thanks!

I'm looking towards doing the same! :) I'll be dual booting Vista Home Premium 64-Bit and Ubuntu. Hope it all goes well.. :D

Yeah I will be using Linux Mint, which is based on Ubuntu and Debian. So if it works Ubuntu will work since it uses the same repositories for the most part.

I'm running opensolaris on NP5793 and I love it!. Much better than the wind0w$ crap. The only thing that doesn't work is the webcam.

I'm able to see the wireless card, but since, the place I work used TKIp-enterprise, i'm not able to connect. (therr is no support for it yet, on opensolairs)

I'm pretty sure that if you will be able to find drivers, for most of the stuff if not all in linux.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks
