G73jh a1 a2 discontinued?

as i was googling about the problem that im facing now.. which is the high pitch noise on my laptop... i saw in the forums..that they say that asus will be discontiniung the production of this g73jh-a2, a1 is this true??.. and also about the g73jh-b1 version coming out..:eek:

the b1 is probably a model that took all the lessons learned from the a1 and fixes all the issues out of the box. Otherwise it will likely be the same overall laptop I would guess.

I have no knowledge of this I just heard from this thread. That said I suspect Mav is correct but also consider a model can get so poisoned by rep renaming is the way to go. In other words it is the same exact notebook maybe some MFG tolerance tweaked but identical just different name. In other words my A2 working fine might be identical.

Interesting I will watch and see what happens.

Ok so far the b models have the i7-740 and DDR3 1333 in them. That is the only differences I can find atm.

Good find, yea CPU upgrade and RAM boost make good sense. I was lucky and got the RAM upgrade like others at no charge. Of course I would take the CPU upgrade also but I am not going to watch every improvement and cry. Too much crying.

Of course not all about me but just wanted to share.
