View Full Version : np8690 gtx 460/470
hey all, I bought a np8690 from here about a year agot
currently, it has a 280x.
I see that the np8690 is now offered with a gtx 460 and 470. I'm interested in upgrading my gpu, but I have no idea who sells these gpu's standalone.
Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have spent hours looking online to no avail.

If you toss an email to service@xoticpc.com with your request and your serial number, we can take a look and see if it is possible. If it is, they can get you a quote as well.

I am sorry this is not possible. The GTX460/470 use motherboard revision 5.0 which also includes the USB 3.0. The best GPU you can put in your machine is the HD5870, which performs better than the 460..probably equal to the 470. This will cost you around 450ish for the card itself. The ATI is probably 200 cheaper than the 460 is as well.
