We have just launched the Intel Core 2 QUAD Q9550 2.83GHz w/ 12MB L2 Cache - 1333MHz FSB as an available upgrade option on the Sager np9262 (http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np9262-ultimate-custom-laptop-built-clevo-d901c-p-2273.html?wconfigure=yes)!

Just got mine in the other day. This is with the new chip, 4mb of RAM, dual 8800GTX:

I have loaded BF 2142 and Crysis. Crysis is really laggy even on medium. Optimal setting was high, but turned unplayable after a few minutes.

Update your drivers, Crysis should run at WUXGA all high with 25-30 fps .

I went to Sager and downloaded from there. It appears to be the same one I have installed. I thought this was sorted out already?

I got Vantage and ran it before I loaded up much software. Getting very consistent 6200 scores. Nothing I can do to improve them other than trying unproven drivers.

well if your game enough.. flash the video card bios to overclock your grafix cards.
