Google has announced an event in San Francisco on 7th of December which promises some exciting news about Chrome. The event will be hosted at DogPatch Labs’ San Francisco office on Tuesday, December 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. PT.
It is being reported that Google will most probably unveil the long-awaited Chrome OS which is an open source operating system, designed specifically for the net-books market to provide them fast experience using reduced boot and start-up time.
As per developers speed, security and simplicity are the main aspects of Chrome OS. It is the first operating system Google has designed for traditional computers, such as desktop PCs, laptops & net-books rather than smartphones or tablets.
Google first announced the Chrome OS in July of 2009.
