just downloaded amnesia dark descent from steam. doesnt load

i have an asus g73 with ati hd5870 every other game i bought recently through the sales work this doesnt

after getting it by impulse buy i see it has isues with ati laptops?

im using stock drivers because the ati drivers were crashing my games with the bios that came with my g73 and i dont know how to flash bios

what do i do to play the game?

Not sure why you are having issues. I have the same laptop and I kept everything stock on mine and the game installed and plays fine.

I started answering the 2nd bot telling him the 1st was a bot. And telling him the question was in Romainian and meant "sports betting". Then I said wait! It's a bot!:p

You can try running sfc /scannow as administrator to look for file corruption and then a registry cleaner like the one built into CCleaner.

I do,but the bots still are all too often getting too much exposure time on the forums.Like now,on the weekend.

What's being done on the forum Administrator's end?

This is like spitting in the wind or shoveling sh*t against the tide.

The Admin is blind or don't care.

People visit here looking to buy,advice or help.

Not good to see a lot of crap they may think is legit and innocent.

Not everyone is aware and cautious.

I've been reporting them. Staff tends to delete them a little bit sooner when reported. Probably because they don't always check this section of the forums otherwise.

It is getting problematic though. The past week or so has seen a constant flow of bots coming here.
