View Full Version : Having some trouble designing my graphics for my new lappy I just ordered.

I'm not sure if anyone can help me here, but I just ordered a new lappy and am having a skin done to make it special.
However, I am having trouble with the design I want on it. I have the main image alright, but I'm having trouble with the background.
I've tried Picasso and a program called GIMP which is like Adobe Elements. Picasso simply doesn't have the function I need and GIMP is far too difficult for me to figure out.
I have no artistic abilities what so ever.
What I am trying to do is put a picture I took of a statue if Isis on a Lapis stone background which I downloaded from the internet. (The statue image currently has a black background).
If anyone can tell me an easy way to do this I'd appreciate it. (Even if its not so easy - if you can give me steps in a program I have like Gimp that I can follow, I should be able to do it. Alternatively, if its a program I don't have, maybe I can go get it if it doesn't cost a fortune).
Thank you.

You can also try using Microsoft Office Picture Manager.
