How long does it take for a notebook to get into the shipping phase?

I was just wondering, if I ordered a laptop now, how long would it take to arrive (assuming the shipping takes 3 days).

And! how much is the brokerage fee on shipment to canada/ when do I pay tax?

It depends on several factors, among which are the stock, estimated build time and possible backorders.
2 weeks for very new systems usually.
