Hey everyone, I just noticed something. On the spec page for the NP5170 it lists the memory at only 1066Mhz. However it is being advertised as running at 1333Mhz on the sales page. Which is it?

These kind of errors are not uncommon when a new model gets first listed.
Since quad cores support 1333 and 1600 it better to get the faster 1333.The DDR3 1600 is late to the party.
You''l notice it also lists 4 USB 2 ports and no USB 3 ports. In the model overview it mentions having USB 3.

When you go into the customize page it says 1333. 1333 is right answer. Somebody didn't proof read their work (SH) it happens.

I just wanted to make sure that this was the case. I will be using this for intense video editing. I returned a laptop last week to best buy because they also listed the memory at 1333mhz. Come to find out it was only 1066mhz, hence the sluggish performance.
I will call them later this afternoon before placing my order to be 100% sure.

The thing that I'm most concerned with in the NP5160 and NP5170 is the use of the HM55 chipset with the Sandy Bridge CPU.
These appear to be hybrid adaptions not built on the Huron River platform and are not billed as Huron River on the Sager home site while the NP8150 and NP8170 are.
There will definitely be some loss of features.
