When I bought this gaming laptop I decided to not get a blu-ray player on it But now I would like to have one so I could watch some blu-ray movie on it.

Does one of this software work or do I have to open up the laptop and install some blu-ray hardware on it?

You need to open the laptop and take out the DVD drive, then replace it with a blu-ray drive. Should not be too hard to do.

You will need both hardware and software to view Blu-ray movies.

If you want to view 3D Blu-ray content you will need software player like the Cyberlink PowerDVD version 10 Mark II 3D you linked to and an external 120hz monitor.

2D Blu-ray should display fine on 1920 x 1080 60hz and 1366 x 768 60hz displays.

Cyberlink PowerDVD version 9 is OK for 2D.

For the hardware part you can go 2 ways.
#1 open the laptop and replace the DVD Multi with an internal Blu-ray reader or Blu-ray Burner that can read and write Blu-ray discs.
#2 Buy and external Blu-ray reader or burner that connects via USB ports.

I'm going with option 1 you listed.
What internal Blu-ray reader you recommend I get?

Thanks!!
