Hey guys, just wanted to say I just made an account and made my very first post. I will very soon be a new owner of a Sager Laptop and have decided to join the forum. I have gotten in line and put in an order for a Sager 8170-s1. Even though the recall and the demand of this particular laptop is going to set me back. I will be able to make some changes to it as money comes. Any tips to share for my first ever Sager build will be great. Thanks!!

Welcome to the forums, as I am not a Sager owner I cannot offer any tips on the specific manufacturer other than what I read but the hardware side of things is pretty simple :) Gratz on the order of your machine as well, I am sure once this SB fiasco is finished with it will be stellar!

The same bots come back again and again if the Admin doesn't ban the associated IP addresses.

More has to be done than just a minor vbulletin update.

Admin,give us an idea as to what steps are being taken to rid the site of the bot parade.

As for the bot's I wish it were just a simple IP ban but it is not. We have added additional items in registration, updated VBulletin and tightened up some rules within VBulletn and unfortunately have many of our staff come in and moderate multiple times a day. Hopefully they will be done soon.....

Wow, even now a bot is giving me advice? This is new and now its going to make it hard to try and identify who's who and take advice here on this forum. I can't believe that my first post was replied by a bot!!! I may be a noob for asking this but how do you identify a bot? Hopefully a bot does not answer this.

Keeper is a bot magnet. It is weird, they have a way of posting right after he does. I just follow him around with ban hammer in hand when one of those guys comes around.

And Justin is chasing after the bot problem too, I assure you. Also, hmog, the bots usually say something nonsensical and have links in their sigs to some strange website. Don't click them!

Normally, if someone posts about something totally random, they are usually a bot.
