Simple question, does Compal IFL90 Elite have "matte" screen for WSXGA+ (1680 / 1050) ?? ... like NP2090 elite does...

Yes they are both the Matte display :D

and both have 8600m GT video card with 512mb dedicated ram with wsxga+??

Probably a dumb question, but what is the difference between NP2090 and IFL90 ?
Is there any advantage (even if only in shipping delay) to choose one over the other ?

They are both very similar in specifications. The Compal IFL90 is on backorder for 6+ weeks. The Sager np2090 will be available to be shipped in 2-3+ weeks

The main differences between the 2090 and IFL90 are the Warranty and options available in the configurator. Other then that they are Identical machines :)

I had a question regarding the Compal model, I havent bought an additional LCD monitor/screen from you guys, but lets say i wanted to attach an LCD screen to my laptop can i do that and possibly run two programs simultaneouly on two different screens??? is that possible with the Compal laptop or do i need anything specifically for this to happen? also if i configured my laptop with linux would that also affect the LCD monitor attached to the laptop??? plz let me know...im just curious. thx.
