Been a bit slow on here, decided to throw this up on here and see if we can get a discussion going.
MWC ends today, what did you all think?
On the phone side I have to say that personally I was disappointed with the announcements. Saw almost nothing that I cared for besides the Galaxy S II and that sounds like it is going to AT&T so not happening for me.
Tablets had some interesting announcements with the next Samsung Tab and the HTC Flyer. Sounds like Sony is developing a tablet as well, saw the concept design and it is compared to a magazine folded backwards. I like it in some ways but in other ways I'm not a fan of that bulkier end. Be interested to see a physical model.
NVIDIA showed off Kal-El, it's quad core mobile processor which it hopes will be in phones by the end of the year. That almost makes me want to wait but if I do that then I'll keep waiting on the latest and greatest. Definitely won't get a single core phone, that much I know for sure. Heck the dual cores are already considered much more powerful than what is needed for the time, quad core is probably going to be a lot of extra power for nothing that won't be taken advantage of for quite a while.
