Does anyone know what the release date with xoticpc and the g-50 is, I know its already out but xotic still has a preorder header on the page for it. I really want to get one through xotic but I need it before I head to school for engineering because I am moving. So if anyone has an idea of when the g50 would be at my doorstep it would be greatly appreciated...

The G50V-A1 and A2 are both just coming into stock now. All orders will be filled. Of course the exact time that it shows up on your doorstep will depend on your payment and shipping methods, whether or not you want a custom skin, etc. For our part, it generally takes 3-7 business days (or sometimes less).

I'm curious what's so great about this computer? For what you get for the price doesn't compare to the Sager models. :confused:

The price does compare if you get the A1 the G50 can match a similar priced sager model in real world applications and beat it too. In gaming of course the sager is going to win, but the G50 isnt half bad with graphics. And besides when you customize the laptop here the price is going to be higher for a similar model because sager's only come with drivers and no OS so if you add that the price benefit is null.

Still (Phase 1 (Pending Parts or Item Arrival)) after being told they were in stock..

check it again around 1 or 2 am, I think that's when they update the order.

When did you order? I put my order in on the tenth and talked to Brad mine probably wont go into production until next week. But have hope they are only doing 1 day of testing from what I heard because of little customization!:D you will get one soon enough:rolleyes:
